IS YOUR HEART HEALTHY
February is American Heart Month.
We take note of the "physical" health of our heart, as we exercise, eat the right foods, watch our weight, get good quality of sleep, etc.
But we also need to consider the "spiritual" health of our hearts.
What is the condition of your spiritual heart health?
Does your heart need cleansing?
What are you doing to keep your spiritual heart healthy?
Are you spending time in Gods Word and praying everyday?
Are you getting together with other Christians?
(Church, Bible Study, Prayer Meetings, spend time with your church family)
As we show our love to one another and we become more like Christ, our hearts will be spiritually healthy.
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Ask God to forgive your sin and give you a clean heart and spirit. Be more like Christ and let others see him in you.
Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
God will be found when we seek him wholeheartedly. He is waiting for you to seek him.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
It's hard to wait on the Lord sometimes but he knows best. Be patient and wait for God's timing.
Matthew 6:21
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Are you storing up treasures on earth or in heaven? Are earthly possessions more important than doing things for God?
Our earthly treasures can be stolen or destroyed but treasures laid up in Heaven will last forever.
John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
God loves us and gave us a way out of our sin. Jesus, God's only son, became a man who knew no sin to die on the cross for our sins.
But he conquered sin and death by his resurrection.
Jesus paid a debt he did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay.
Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
We can not get there on our own.
Jesus is waiting for you to come to him.
A-B-C's of Salvation
Admit you are a sinner.
Believe Jesus is God's Son, who died and rose again.
Confess your sin and commit to Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
2 Corinthians 6:2b
behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation.
No one is promised tomorrow. Don't wait to ask Jesus to be your savior because tomorrow may be too late.
Once you take that last breath it's too late. There are no 2nd chances. No do overs.
Absent from the body you will either be in heaven or totally separated from God forever.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH HEALTHY HEARTS, BOTH PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL
WELCOMING YOU HOME
John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
We believe the Bible is the true written word of God.
We do not change the bible
to suit the culture.
WE change to be more like Jesus.
We believe in the power of prayer.
James 5:16
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.
